Bus transportation is a privilege and dependent on good behaviour.
This is a basic safety issue. Children who do not obey the bus driver, do not remain seated,
or cause any type of disturbance, will lose their transportation privileges.
Students are expected to:
1. Be at the bus pick up point 5-10 minutes ahead of time.
2. Respect private property. Do not abuse, damage or litter the bus stop area.
3. Go directly to their seats and stay seated until the bus comes to a full stop.
4. Place backpacks on their laps.
5. Keep all parts of their body inside the bus and refrain from throwing anything in or out of the bus.
6. Refrain from eating or drinking on the bus.
7. Appropriate language will be used at all times.
If bus transportation is cancelled in the morning (for example if the weather is bad),
the noon and afternoon school buses will NOT operate either. Please listen to local radio stations
for a cancellation announcement if you think there is any chance the bus may not run.
